Got back to doing some exploring this weekend, looking for abandoned houses north of Toronto. Visited an area I havent really looked at in some time. If you went to raves and underground parties back in the early and mid ninties then you might of heard the name Honey Pot. It was a small Ski Resort on Dufferin near Richmond Hill. Now long gone and not a sign that it ever exsisted. A huge Golf Course has wiped it off the landscape. Driving a little past where the Honey Pot once was I found a couple of abandoned houses/cottages. This is a shot from inside the larger of the two houses. This one definately had a Ski Lodge feel to it. I can just imagine what it was like when the Honey Pot was busy in the late 80's and early 90's. Im sure this was someones City getaway for many weekends. Now the landscape is changing and urban sprawl is in full effect. Soon this place will fall victim to a new subdivision. Not an amazing find whatsoever, but im sure it has some memories.

Wow

I love this photo for 2 reasons. First,it's full of memories for me...... But the main reason is the picture being alive!!!!! You can even smell the room.......

Hey, I used to party at the Honey Pot!!
And I worked at the older golf course right up the street.
Ahh, those were good times.

I hate urban sprawl!!!!
