Fake Carpet
Description: Havent seen this before. Took this photo last year, just off of Taunton Road in Whitby. Someone had pulled up the carpet to reveal hardwood floor with a painting of a carpet on it. Strange. or not.

Awesome!

The painted carpet looks real, someone was a good artist. Too bad some of these houses can't talk!

Great Pictures

I was wondering if you just walk into these places, or do you get some kind of permission?

no body home

I first look to see if there are any signs of recent activity, usually tire tracks in the driveway are a sure sign that the place might not be abandoned. But the most telling sign is if the power lines have been cut. This is the first thing that i check before i venture towards an abandoned house. To answer your question, no I have never asked permission, but there have been a couple times where I should have. Check the category.. The Ghosts of Kipling Avenue.

Thanks for visiting :)
