The Storm Set is a collection of prefabs, or meshes / models used by Pariah Level Designers. The Storm Set consisted of High Polygon Models with bevels and various details ( Modeled by Jean Rocherfort ). I was responsible for taking these highpoly models and texturing them in 3D Max, lighting the models to highlight the details, and baking them ( rendering ) onto low polygon versions of the mesh for use in the game engine. I would then take the baked textures into Photoshop and apply various layers until I was satisfied with the texture. The first image on this page simply demonstartes a flat 1024 texture being applied to an in game mesh. What was once a 5000 polygon model can be baked onto a 180 polgon mesh. The next two images are screenshots from one of the levels in Pariah using the Storm Set.
